Our tour guide will pick you from Entebbe international airport and proceed with you to Kampala city where you will be accommodated at a hotel.
We will leave very early in the morning and head for south west Uganda. We will have a stopover at the equator point for a photo of it and buy crafts. Thereafter proceed with our sightseeing of the rural village hills and the famous curved horned cattle of a tribe called Ankole.
Have lunch at a town called Mbarara. Continue through the tea estates and the western part of the Albertine rift valley arriving in the evening at the lodge.
Wake up very early before sunrise and setoff for search of wildlife, expect to see animals like elephant, buffalo, waterbuck, Uganda kob, warthogs, lions and leopards. Thereafter go for refreshments at the lodge.
In the afternoon, set off for a boat cruise on the kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George, expect to see animals which come to the water to bathor drink, these include hippos, buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles sunbathing and a wide range of attractive birds. Thereafter go back to the lodge for an overnight.
After an early morning breakfast, we will travel south of the park to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park enroute you will expect to see tree climbing lions in an area called Ishasha. Other animals may be spotted like the buffalo and the Uganda kob.
We will wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast before 8:00am after which gather at the ranger station for briefing about the gorilla and registration. The ranger guide will then take you through the thicket of the impenetrable forest. The gorilla tracking activity takes between 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorilla movement.
When they are met, you can stop and relax around these endangered species for an hour and watch them play and feed. Before going for the activity, you are expected to be physically fit and free from communicable diseases like the common cold. After the tracking activity has ended, you will have packed lunch before returning back to your lodge.
After breakfast, you will be drive to Entebbe airport via Kampala city and then follow the departure arrangements at the airport.
