Difule Fort is found in Moyo district in the north western region of  Uganda. Probably the oldest monument, it was built in the 19th century. It was built on the site of dufile which happened on 23 November 1888 between the Mahdist forces and the forces loyal to Egypt. The fort was built between 1874 and 1879 for Charles Gordon, the British governor.

It currently has a cultural Centre which displays the life style of the madi people through the years and the famous battle field.
